Management – BSBA
The Department of Management prepares students with the skills necessary to meet the business demands of today and tomorrow. The curriculum provides a solid business core, helping students learn how to deal with the people-based challenges encountered in various management positions. Graduates have employment opportunities in a wide variety of supervisory/management positions.
The following concentrations are offered online: Management, Human Resource Management (HRM), and General Business.
Management Concentration
A concentration in management can provide you with the skills you need to succeed in future business enterprises. The concentration is designed to help you learn how to deal with the people-based challenges you will encounter in a management position.
Human Resource Management Concentration
Human Resource Management (HRM) is one of the faster growing business disciplines and is critically important to enabling organizations to build and sustain high performance. Recent surveys of business leaders have identified organizational effectiveness, change management, and attracting and retaining the best talent as critical to long-term competitiveness and success.
General Business Concentration
The concentration in general business offers students the opportunity to acquire a general overview of the skills necessary to manage human and physical resources.

Management Information Systems – BSBA

Management information systems is the study of people, technology, and organizations. Some areas of specialization include Database administration, systems development/analysis, consulting, technical writing, education & training.
The Management Information Systems (MIS) program integrates business and computing, providing students the skills to solve business problems in technology-based environments. Students learn to analyze and design effective information systems, successfully manage software projects, and develop business solutions, all while focusing on the role that computers play in human settings. Whether large or small, local or international, every organization depends on good information and information systems.
Marketing – BSBA

With a focus on consumers and delivering value, marketing is an exciting field of business that stimulates lateral thinking and creativity.
A BSBA in marketing at ECU provides students with the insight needed to identify marketing opportunities, develop appropriate strategies, and put them into action. Supply Chain Management – BSBA
Supply chain management has become increasingly significant as firms recognize the importance of aligning a firm’s supply chain and production system with how a firm strategically competes in the global marketplace.
What will SCM prepare you to do?
A BSBA in supply chain management (SCM) prepares students for careers in the areas of sourcing, operations, and logistics. Graduates in SCM have career choices as managers of purchasing, distribution, inventory, logistics, operations, quality, and supply chains. The SCM curriculum also helps prepare graduates to sit for the Certified Purchasing Manager examination.
