Students pursuing online programs may opt-in to paying university and/or health service fees to access additional campus resources.

Students enrolled in an online program and are taking more than one main campus (face-to-face) class will be billed at the Main Campus tuition and fee rate.
Students enrolled in a main-campus (face-to-face) program will be billed at the Main Campus tuition and fee rate, regardless of the instructional method of their courses, including during summer terms.
Additionally, students who live in the residence halls/dorms will be billed at the Main Campus tuition and fee rate.


Additional Tuition Per Credit Hour & Special Fees

** MBA/MSA courses will be assessed an additional $125.00 per semester hour for tuition
** MSN/DNP/PHD-Nursing/Post Master’s in MSN courses will be assessed an additional $125 per semester hour for tuition
** MS in CSDI Courses will be assessed an additional $166.67 per semester hour for tuition
** AuD/PhD classes will be assessed an additional $133.33 per credit hour for tuition.
** MS in OT classes will be assessed an additional $77.78 per credit hour for tuition.
** PA classes will be assessed an additional $218.72 per credit hour for tuition.
** MPH classes will be assesses an additional $100.00 per credit hour for tuition.
** MS of Social Work classes will be assessed an additional $34.00 per credit hour for tuition.
*** College of Engineering and Technology Fee: 1-6 credit hours – $75.00; 7+ credit hours – $150.00
*** Some Allied Health and Nursing courses will be assessed an additional $47.50 clinical skills fee per semester

Tuition payments for online courses can be made through ECU’s Pirate Port via a secure connection, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can access Pirate Port and enter “Tuition Statements and Payments” in the search box.
